The commission was to design a new space in an existing building in Vazisubani Estate, Kakheti, Georgia.

The new space, which was first intended as a wine cellar, was cleaned of all partitions to allow natural light inside and reimagined as a series of brick arches that frame different sceneries and activities.

The existing architecture is mostly untouched with only furniture, lighting and decoration creating a very natural atmosphere, which is complemented by the use of natural wood, fabric and soft lighting.

The outside area is made up of an open kitchen with a bar and the timber pergola with dining tables, which work together to enclose a fire pit and easy chairs.
